The prize is for the June 16 performance at 7:30 p.m. at the National Theatre in Washington, DC, raffle tickets are $10, and the winner will be announced at the end of April.

Why Suffs?

Direct from Broadway, Suffs is the acclaimed Tony Award-winning musical about the brilliant, passionate, and funny American women who fought tirelessly for the right to vote. Created by Shaina Taub, who became the first woman to independently win Tony Awards for both Best Book and Best Score in the same season, the show is a bold exploration of the triumphs and failures of a struggle for equality that remains deeply relevant today.

The story follows the women of the American suffragist movement as they navigate friendship, conflict, sacrifice, and political change, inviting audiences to reflect on how change happens and who gets included in that progress. Suffs reminds us that rights are fought for, progress requires action, and lasting change begins when people speak up for themselves and for each other.
